When prototyping to test assembly process, you may not need to build it at 1:1 scale.
For small devices like wearable electronics, maybe 2:1 scale would be better, to see the component interfaces.
For large devices, maybe a 1:2 scale would be appropriate.
Think about learning.
How can this prototype help me learn what works, and what needs fixing?
Only work on what needs fixing.
